The tour takes 2 full days (departure from Bucharest) and includes visits to the major medieval fortifications in the area of Transylvania: Brasov medieval city, Rasnov – a splendid fortified citadel from XV century and Sighisoara - one of the most beautiful, best-preserved and still inhabited medieval citadels in Europe. An optional visit would be Peles Castle in Sinaia.
In the second day you will discover Rupea citadel - which is one of the oldest and best-conserved medieval sites in Romania, archaeological excavations showing the first signs of human settlements are dating from the Paleolithic and early Neolithic and Prejmer fortress - the largest fortified church in southeastern Europe. An optional visit would be Dracula Castle in Bran
