Following the visit to the Killing Fields there will be a lunch break either at the Killing Fields or in the city after the 45 minute drive back before resuming the tour. (The time frame for the Independence Monument includes a lunch break and the return drive from the Killing Fields). Commence the afternoon by seeing and learning a bit about the impressive Independence Monument which represents the independence of Cambodia from French colonisation which lasted for 90 years, from 1863 - 1953.
