About this experience

We provide the finest shuttle service on the Island with guaranteed curbside and designated meeting area “pick up or drop off” service. Service includes Roatan International airport, both ferry terminals and almost all vacation rental homes on the island of Roatan. Please contact to specify your address or location if you feel our criteria does not apply.

We offer multiple vehicles ranging in size, from 10-15 seaters or 20-28 seater buses. We also provide a variety of SUV's & Sedan's for groups of 4 and under or couples. Driver's will have a sign of the lead or booking traveller's name at the meeting area, once you clear customs and baggage at the airport or ferry. Please ask us in advance about adding a grocery store and pharmacy stop prior to check in at your hotel, resort or rental unit.

Detour also provides “pick up or drop off” service to the Galaxy Wave Ferry terminal with two daily charters to the coastal city of La Ceiba starting at 7:00am and 2:00pm from the home port of Roatan.

Once a shuttle is booked, Detour will arrange a licensed, professional driver/chofer and a vehicle that accommodates the clients’ needs, It can be your hotel, timeshare, vacation rental or the airport. Upon arrival your driver will be waiting to greet you at the meeting area with a sign displaying the client’s name.
