Detailed itinerary

Stop 1

You will depart Marrakech at 09:00 with a pick-up from your hotel or riad. Drive along tarred roads to leave the plains of Marrakech, passing small villages dotted over a vast landscape of olive trees.

You will pass through apple orchards before arriving at the market village of Douar Asni. Enjoy the sight of the snowy summits of the High Atlas during winter, towering at approximately 5,900 feet (1, 800 meters) above sea level.

We will cross over the river and proceed to Sidi Fares, where you will get wonderful views of Mount Toubkal and a collection of Berber villages that are irrigated by the springs below Mount Oukaimeden.

Discover the lifestyle of the Berber inhabitants of the mountains. Depending on the season, the meadows will be filled with poppies, making them look like wonderful impressionist paintings.

Stop close to the river bank and enjoy a meal at a typical small restaurant in Ourika, where you can taste a real Moroccan tagine or feast over delicious skewers of grilled meat cooked right in front of you.

Continue to the sublime Setti Fatma waterfalls, where you can take a hike through the mountains. Return to your vehicle for the drive back to the tarmac roads and the return journey to Marrakech, where you will be dropped off at your accommodation
