About this experience

1. Canoe tour: Duration 2 hours
On the canoe tour we can navigate the Tortuguero canals, observe a wide variety of animals, and enjoy a privileged view.

2. Spawn turtle: (01 July to 10 October) at the end of the turtle spawning season, this activity is replaced by Night Tour (from 11 October to 30 June)
Spawn turtle: Tortuguero National Park is a very important site for the nesting of some species among them; Verde y la Baula which is characterized by being the largest sea turtle in the world and endangered. Schedule assigned by the national park.

3. Hike trail day: Duration 2 hours
On the day walk we will enter the trails of the national park and we will appreciate a great variety of flora and fauna.

Stop 1

Spawn Turtle (01 July to 10 October) or Night Tour (from 11 October to 30 June):

Spawn turtle: After the meeting with our guide, you will receive an informative talk and we will prepare to go to the beach, then we will wait on the beach until we are told (the park ranger) the place and location where some turtle is, or we will walk short trips on the beach to locate them, during the journey our guide will give you details and information about the process of spawning the turtles

Night tour: Experience the experience of exploring the forest and discover the authentic and lush jungle of Costa Rica during the night excursion.

Stop 2

Canoe tour: we will start the tour at the main pier of Tortuguero, where we will take the canoe, and go to the national park.
On the canoe tour we can observe a wide variety of animals, such as: alligators, birds, river turtles, monkeys, and many other species.
It's a relaxing and nature-filled trip...

Stop 3

Hiking day: our certified guides will take you to the different trails of the national park, where they will explain the biodiversity of the area, as well as the history of the national park.
