Today, it is surrounded by all the glitzy buildings that make up the skyline of Dubai. Another Zabeel Palace has also cropped up in the vicinity, but it is the old palace that is full of charms. This palace was constructed sometime in the 1960s and was used as a residence till the 90s. The design of this palace is the idea of Otto Bulart who also designed the Clock Tower in Dubai.

The region's most hotly anticipated hotel opening, the new Atlantis The Royal is the latest landmark to make waves in Dubai.
The stunning building offers boundary-pushing architectural design paired with sumptuous palatial interiors. Situated on Palm Jumeirah, the team behind the stunning structure describe it as a “deconstruction of the traditional tower block”, with the hotel and residence sprawling laterally through intersecting blocks across 500 metres of prime beachfront.
The property is home to 795 rooms, suites and signature penthouses. Each offers incredible views of the Dubai skyline and the Arabian Gulf, while 44 of them have their own private infinity pools. The block-series design also means that you can experience seclusion and privacy within your space, while still enjoying the amenities and delights of a much bigger property.

Dubai Marina is an affluent residential neighborhood known for The Beach at JBR, a leisure complex with al fresco dining and sandy stretches to relax on. Smart cafes and pop-up craft markets line waterside promenade Dubai Marina Walk, while Dubai Marina Mall is packed with chains and luxury fashion brands. Upscale yachts cruise through the large man-made marina, where activities range from jet-skiing to skydiving.

The world's tallest observation wheel joins Dubai's skyline - Ain Dubai is the latest landmark to join Dubai’s long list of world record-breaking attractions. Located on Bluewater Island, the giant observation wheel stands at a staggering height of 250m making it the highest and largest of its kind in the world.
The monument is an amazing feat of construction, with each leg of the wheel standing 126m high – long enough to fit 15 London buses – while the weight of the assembled hub and spindle is equivalent to four A380 aircrafts.

The unmatched Burj Khalifa view can be taken in from not one but two observations decks – the two-storey At the Top on the 124th and 125th floors, as well as one of the world’s highest observation decks (555m) on the 148th floor.

At 150m tall and 93m wide with a bridge connecting the two towers, Dubai Frame has a unique concept to its structure. Resembling a picture frame, Dubai's historic district can be seen to the north while the south provides breathtaking vistas of the modern cityscape.
