About this experience

An intimate group walking experience that will start inside and on the rooftop of Galeries Lafayette, worldly known and renowned Paris department store. Then, after a leisurely stroll into the chic, luxurious and prestigious Opera house / Vendome square district (home of the Ritz palace hotel and the most prestigious jewelers) and the Haussmannian Paris, while your guide will unfold historical and fun facts to you on the way, you'll reach our final destination: Paris Summer Funfair, a seasonal attraction park installed right inside the gardens of the Louvre museum, known as Tuileries Gardens. There, between the Louvre and Champs Elysees, we'll offer you (and go with you) a ride at the contemplative Ferris wheel or the exhilarating Aerial Swing (your choice!) with the Eiffel tower as a natural backdrop for exciting keepsake photos.

Ooops! I almost forgot. Your guide will indulge you festive treats for your sweet tooth at the funfair.

What you'll see

Seasonal tour from June 22 to August 19 2018
• First, your visit will start at the Galeries Lafayette where you'll admire the overwhelming architecture of this historical temple of consumerism with its massive stained glass ceiling overlooking a richly decorated theatrical design. Your guide will even take you up to the store's outdoor rooftop for an spectacular and heavenly view of Paris. You will know about some fun stories that happened there and even have a special glance of Paris in the older days... when horses with carriages were the fastest transportation in town.
• You will continue along with a leisurely stroll into the second Empire's Haussmannian Paris and through Opera house / Vendome square districts where Hemingway had his habits at the Ritz palace hotel. Your guide will unfold other fascinating stories and show you some little gems along the road on the way to our final destination.
• Finally, you'll reach to the final destination at the Paris Summer Funfair. There, in the Tuileries gardens partially made a seasonal attraction park, you will ride on the Ferris Wheel, the Aerial Swing or a carousel of your choice, up in the air, between the Louvre museum and Concorde square. You surely will want to take exciting photos of your ever changing horizon with the Champs Elysees, Eiffel tower, Arc de triomphe and other city highlights as your natural funfair backdrop coming and going around you.
• IMPORTANT: If your little ones up to 6 are permitted to climb into the Ferris wheel under your supervision, they are not allowed on the Aerial swing. However... these little party goers have got the right to have fun too. Great, they will be offered a ride on a grounded toddler's fitted attraction.
