Experience the Sonoma wine region in a unique way – on a San Francisco-style trolley, for an open-air ride through rustic, sun-kissed Sonoma Valley. Stop at 3 different wineries to sip and swirl fine Northern California varietals. This open-air trolley will let you experience the picturesque vineyards like no other tour. On this tour, your friendly and knowledgeable guide will take you to three wineries for tastings. You will visit Sonoma's top historic landmarks and enjoy lunch during one of the scenic stops. The tour starts at 10:00 and and ends around 4:30.

Your day in California wine country starts as you hop aboard the Sonoma Wine Trolley, modeled after the famous historical cable cars of San Francisco. Enjoy the breeze as your knowledgeable tour guide whisks you off to four outstanding Sonoma-area wineries, known for both their wines and their hospitality.

Each wine tasting takes place at the winery and a representatives at each winery will explain the different varietals you’ll sample and the background of the wineries (wine tasting fees are not included and you can expect fees of $30 to $40).

There will be wonderful photo opportunities on this tour and your friendly guide will be happy to take a photo or two of your group so you can document your memorable day in wine country.

Meeting point

Meet at in the circular driveway in front of the Town Hall - Stone Building between 10:00 am and 10:15 am. Trolley Departs at 10:15 sharp. Parking can be found behind the Presidio of Sonoma at 98 E Spain St, Sonoma, CA 95476.

Important notes

Departure point is the Sonoma Plaza located at 453 1st St E, Sonoma. Meet in the u shape driveway on the south side of the stone building between 10:00 and 10:15. Parking is available behind the Presidio of Sonoma located at 98 E Spain St, Sonoma. Pick up is between 10:00-10:15.Minimum age is 21 years . No consumption of alcoholic beverage is allowed on the trolley.
Visit to four Sonoma Wineries or Tasting Rooms and enjoy lunch at the 2nd stop.
In case of severe weather or trolley mechanical failure, we will substitute a luxury bus.

Tour ends around 4:30.
