The morning tour (6:30 AM or 7:00 AM) is our most recommended tour due to calmer ocean conditions and more wildlife sightings.
Raft tours will include seeing and possibly entering sea caves and snorkeling, but only if the ocean conditions are safe enough to do so. Your tour’s Captain will make this decision. (We do not snorkel in the sea caves.)
We recommend booking early in your vacation in case of a weather cancellation, you have more time left in your vacation to rebook.
Our tour departs from the west side of Kauai— We meet in Waimea at the Na Pali Riders office.
When ocean conditions are not favorable for a Na Pali Coast tour or the minimum passenger count for the safety and stability of our vessel is not met, you will be offered the following: The option to rebook for a different date and time. The option for a full refund.
You can not attend if you are pregnant
WARNING: The Zodiac© raft makes for a wild and rough ride. Due to the nature of the Nā Pali Ocean Raft Tour, you must be in good physical condition to attend this tour. We cannot accommodate pregnant women, anyone with back or neck problems, medical conditions or recent surgeries.
Non-swimmers are prohibited from snorkeling.

CHECK-IN AND MISSED TOUR POLICY
Arrive at Na Pali Riders’ office in Waimea 45 minutes before departure with waivers signed. Departure time is the time specified on your itinerary. If not checked in before the safety brief begins, the tour is missed.

YOU MUST ARRIVE AT LEAST 45 MINUTES EARLY FOR YOUR TOUR
Check in begins 45 minutes prior to departure and closes 30 minutes before departure. If you are not checked in at least 30 minutes before the tour departure time with your waivers signed for everyone in your party then you risk missing the tour with no refund.

DRIVING TIMES TO WAIMEA TOWN (KAUA'I):
Please be considerate and plan ahead! Give yourselves MORE THAN ENOUGH driving time so that you arrive on time for your raft tour. We cannot stress this enough!

Recommendations for avoiding Sea Sickness:

Stay hydrated, especially the day before your tour
If you are unsure if you get sea sick, it is best to take precautions ahead of time
Take a sea sickness medication recommended by your doctor
We have Dramamine (non-drowsy) and sea sickness wrist bands available for purchase in our office
