Opened 30 November 2021, it was a temporary venue, made from 974 recycled shipping containers, that hosted matches during the 2021 FIFA Arab Cup and the 2022 FIFA World Cup, after which dismantlement began. It was the first temporary venue in FIFA World Cup history.
The stadium hosted seven games in the 2022 FIFA World Cup, including Brazil vs. South Korea in the Round of 16.

Al Janoub Stadium was the second among the eight stadiums for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, after the renovation of Khalifa International Stadium. It was designed by Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid (1950–2016).
The stadium features a curvilinear postmodernist and neo-futurist design. The appearance of the roof was inspired by the sails of traditional Dhow boats, used by pearl divers from the region, weaving through currents of the Persian Gulf.

Stop 3

Drivers will make the first stop at Desert Safari Camel Ride location for about 15-20 minutes to deflate tires where the Dune Bashing Adventure will begin. While Drivers are deflating tires, the tourists can visit the badduin tents, watch and ride camels, watch and pet Falcons. Tourists are allowed to capture these amazing memories.

Tourist can witness Paragliding activities where gliders take their flight from the high breathtaking sand dunes.

The second stop of the trip also known as singing dunes where travelers can take a short break after bashing dunes on the way. The name “singing dune” is given by locals because of the winds coming through the highest peaks of the dunes making calm and relaxing notes.
