Drive through the floor of the Great Rift valley passing through maasai land and dry vegetation as you approach the main gate to Maasai mara national reserve. The drive takes around 5 hours with arrival at the gate approximately 8.00am. Game drives starts just after the gate, with thousands of wild beasts and zebras welcoming you. As you drive deeper, Expect to see the big five namely, Lions, Cheetah, Leopard, Elephants, buffalo and rhino.
You will enjoy your packed lunch at the picnic site before proceeding with your game drives. You will leave the park some few minutes after 4.00pm for your drive back to nairobi.
