About this experience

Select between our 2-hour 'ENCHANTED EDINBURGH SHOOT' or the extended 4-hour 'EXTENDED EDINBURGH SHOOT,' which combines the 'ELEGANT EDINBURGH SHOOT' into an ultimate photoshoot of the city.

Born and bred in Edinburgh, LOST IN TRAVEL knows this city like the back of his hand, including all the most picturesque spots.

As the capital of Scotland, Edinburgh often steals your heart even before you venture further north to the rugged mountains, crystal-clear beaches, and breathtaking nature of the Scottish Highlands. But even with the allure of the Highlands, Edinburgh has a unique charm that leaves an indelible mark on all who visit.

Detailed itinerary

1

Your enchanting adventure commences in the historic GRASSMARKET, one of the city's oldest quarters. No public hangings today—instead, we'll ascend 150 steps to the pinnacle of THE VENNEL, offering captivating views of EDINBURGH CASTLE and our first photoshoot location.

2

From there, we'll pass by traditional 14th-century pubs and continue our journey to VICTORIA STREET, one of Edinburgh's most charming spots. It's famed for inspiring J.K. Rowling's creation of Diagon Alley.

3
Stop 3

Our path leads us down the Royal Mile, where you can soak in the vibrant atmosphere of Edinburgh’s crowds. This will guide us to our next destination: THE NEW COLLEGE. Situated within the University of Edinburgh building, it’s a treasure trove of magic and wonder. *Please note this visit is available on MON-FRI bookings.

If unavailable, we’ll offer a choice between the hauntingly atmospheric GREYFRIARS KIRKYARD or the picturesque backdrop of COCKBURN STREET.

4
Stop 4

Our enchanting journey concludes at CALTON HILL, one of my personal favourites for its sweeping views of the city—a magical backdrop, especially during golden hour.
