Start with an orientation of the city and learn about the history and beginnings of this culturally diverse outpost. See the original architecture and learn about the early days of this frontier town.

Stroll through the George Brown Botanical Gardens enjoying the tropical landscape, where locals walk their dogs, amazing examples of iconic vegetation including Boab and Cannon Ball Tree's, flowers and the odd lizard scurrying through the grounds. The air conditioned visitors centre is worth a look if the weather is wet !

Experience the flora, fauna, Indigenous Arts, Cyclone Tracy Exhibition, and Maritime history through The Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory. Meet the Iconic 'Sweetheart' the Crocodile and inspect the multitude of preserved beautiful butterflies, birds and snakes, in air conditioned comfort.

Take an insight into The Darwin Military Museum and learn about The Bombing of Darwin by the Japanese in 1942 with a cinematic experience as well as an understanding of all things military here in Darwin, the closest part of Australia to the rest of the world - a real frontier!
