Detailed itinerary

1
Stop 1

The acropolis of Athens is the most visited archaeological site in Greece. Marvelous constructions exist around and on the sacred hill of Athens. The Parthenon, the Erectheion, a roman auditorium, ancient greek theater and much more. But these monuments are "empty" without the guidance of an expert who will unfold all the stories that "dress" these marbled miracles.

2
Stop 2

If you don't visit the Acropolis Museum after the visit at the Acropolis, it's like you have seen 50%. These 2 sites are connected and you will have a full image of the Acropolis. You will see pottery, sculptures, statues from different time periods and of course the remaining exquisite decorative sculptures of the famous Parthenon.

3
Stop 3

A short stop outside Panathenaic Stadium, where the first modern Olympics took place, in 1896. It is an all-marbled stadium , reconstructed version of the ancient stadium of Athens

4
Stop 4

A short stop at the tallest hill of Athens to enjoy the magnificent view of Athens. A famous place for walking, a hill that was transformed into one of the most expensive areas of Athens

5
Stop 5 Pass by

The Greek Parliament which was the Palace of the first king of modern Greece. This is where the famous change of the Presidential Guard takes place.

6
Stop 6

The old town of Athens full of picturesque alleys, and many monuments from different time periods, such as the ancient roman market, the tower of the winds, an ottoman mosque, byzantine churches. That was Athens until 1830 - a small town of 20.000 people.

7
Stop 7 Pass by

The first University of modern Greece built in the mid 19th century with the Greek-revival style, the National University of Athens! It consists of three buildings, the Academy, the administrative building, and the National Library. Probably the most beautiful buildings of modern Athens.
