In this experience you will drive to The Genocide Memorial commemorates the 1994 Rwandan genocide agains Tutsi. The remains of over 250,000 people are interred there. The Memorial is a permanent memorial to those who fell victim to the genocide and serves as a place for people to grieve those they lost. The site also includes three permanent exhibitions, the largest of which documents the genocide. When visiting Rwanda, it is impossible not to see and learn about the impact of the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi. While this is a remarkably moving experience, it is at the same time surprisingly uplifting, as you will experience first-hand how the people of Rwanda have moved forward together positively and are an example to the World of a success story in peace and reconciliation

In this experience the driver will take to Kimironko Market, the busiest market in the town, where you will find vendors selling products from Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya and Congo. This is also where the locals from all over in Rwanda sell fresh fruits or vegetables, also the famous African cloth called kitenge fabrics and made in Rwanda products which you can buy and the tailor can make the style of your choice right in front of you so you can take it home. The Kimironko markets its place for easy shopping and to experience Rwanda at its liveliest.

You will visit Nyamirambo women's center to join the local women. These are Rwandese women living in Nyamirambo, Kigali, together they created a project which aimed to address gender-based violence, gender inequality and discrimination. You will join them in different activities; Cooking classes,Nyamirambo walking tour, the walking tour begins at the Women’s Center with a traditional snack, a quick Kinyarwanda language lesson, and an introduction to the Center and its activities later you will move around in Nyamirambo car free zone where a big cloud of the people in the area meet and take dinner on the street , a colorful Vibrant neighborhood in Kigali.Nyamirambo is a city within a city , Vibrant, full of parties, growing foodie scene and heaps of creativity.
