Start your day with a visit to the Monaco Casino with an audioguide. Admire the Casino de Monte-Carlo, which embodies the splendor of the Belle Époque. Inside, the Casino is richly decorated. Next, embark on a city tour of Monaco. Visit Monaco-ville, also known as the Rock, the Principality's historic birthplace. This picturesque, fortified district is one of eleven in the city-state, and today remains the nerve center of Monaco's political institutions. See the Prince's Palace, the Government, the National Council, the Town Hall, the Communal Council, and the main courts.
