Chamarel’s Seven Coloured Earth Geopark is a unique opportunity to discover millions of years of history through the iconic 7 Coloured Earth and the Chamarel Waterfall - one of the most impressive waterfalls in Mauritius. Opened in the late 1960s, the park is key to the development of Chamarel, an area full of history and breathtaking scenery.
Visit the famous Casela Safari Park, an outdoor amusement complex with safari tours, camel rides, ziplines, and more. On the west end of Mauritius, you'll explore beautiful gardens and a bird sanctuary. Then, board a safari vehicle to see Java deer, wild boars, monkeys, zebras, impalas, white rhinos, and more!
Visit the dormant Trou aux Cerf's Crater. Unlike the typical volcanic features, this is surrounded by a vast area of lush forest consisting of indigenous plant species and some giant green pine trees.
