The Snæfellsnes peninsula is a microcosm of the island as it contains many wonders such as craters and lava fields, waterfalls, a glacier, captivating black sand beaches, fishing villages and many other places. Snæfellsnes is also a home of Trolls, berserks and heroes of the old Icelandic Sagas and even mass murderers during the middle ages.
The Snæfellsnes peninsula is a microcosm of the island as it contains many wonders such as lava caves, lava fields, waterfalls, a glacier, captivating black sand beaches and many other places. We will drive around the legendary Snæfellsjokull glacier, stopping at Búðir Church for a picture, beautiful black beaches, Saxhóll crater. On our way back to Reykjavik we stop near the world famous Mount Kirkjufell before heading back to Reykjavik. This tour varies from 10-12 hours depending on itinerary.
