The Egyptian Theatre is a historic movie palace that opened in 1922. The theater hosted Hollywood’s first-ever movie premiere, “Robin Hood” (1922), starring Douglas Fairbanks. Restored in the 1990s and recently acquired by Netflix, the Egyptian continues to serve as a landmark for film history and preservation.

Opened in 1927, the Grauman’s Chinese Theater is most famous for its Forecourt of the Stars, where celebrities have left their handprints, footprints, and signatures in cement.
