Detailed itinerary

1

Madrid’s Barley Market has been open since 1875, a space full of life with traditional food stalls, fresh produce, modern bars and cultural events in an authentic atmosphere of the La Latina neighborhood.

2

Casa Botín, founded in 1725 and recognized by the Guinness Book as the oldest restaurant in the world, is located next to Plaza Mayor in Madrid. It offers traditional Castilian cuisine, including suckling pig and lamb roasted in its historic wood-fired oven. With a classic décor and an atmosphere full of history, it has been visited by famous figures and remains a symbol of Madrid’s gastronomy.

3

The Posada de la Villa, located in the Cava Baja of Madrid and founded in 1642, was the first inn of the Court and today is an emblematic restaurant that retains the charm of ancient Madrid. Restored in the 80s, it maintains its wood-burning oven, wooden ceilings and rustic atmosphere. It offers traditional Castilian cuisine with dishes such as roasted lamb lechal, Madrid stew and callos, being one of the most representative restaurants in the La Latina neighborhood.

4

Lhardy, opened in 1839 by Emilio Huguenin, is one of the oldest and most emblematic restaurants in Madrid, located on Carrera de San Jerónimo 8.
It retains a courtly 19th-century atmosphere, with romantically decorated lounges, mirrors, classic lamps and furnishings of historic elegance.
Its cuisine combines Madrid’s tradition (such as cooking and callos) with refined European dishes and luxury pastries.
If you go, expect classic dishes in a setting that evokes centuries of history.

5

We will finish the tour at Paurora Experiences, where we will enjoy an exquisite tasting of traditional tapas, carefully paired with two select Spanish wines. To cap off this gastronomic experience, we will toast a digestive — a shot — that will put the golden pin on our visit.
