About this experience

I have been working as an Approve Tour guide in Cochin for the last twenty years. So I can describe the history of Cochin and know all the historical monuments and old colonial areas of Cochin. I will be trying to give the best experiences in Cochin. I take my guest to places like Jeweish synagogue, Dutch palace, spice market,Jain temple, Chinese fishing nets, St.Francis church, heritage areas of Cochin and telling the stories connected with all these colonial periods of Cochin.

This tour is much useful to understand the cultural influences of chinese , Arabs, Portugese ,Dutch and English to Cochin and her Colonial periods . The connection of Cochin to different contents for the spice trades and arrival of people from other parts of India and settlements of different communities for spice trades , different food cultures, understand the influences of chinese and European architecture in Cochin . History of Chinese fishing nets, best place to see the structure and working of Chinese fishing nets,

History of St.Francis church in Cochin, Architecture, The Vasco Da gama connection with St.Francis church.

History of Dutch Palace, Architecture, detailing of Mural Paintings inside the palace, exquisite objects and importance of each rooms in the palace and the importance temple at the courtyard of Palace.

Explain the history, the name, Architecture, antique elements, ambience and its festivals.

The Jew town, it has retained its glory as an important place of spice trade in Cochin. The exotic odor of spices like cardamom, ginger, cinnamon and black pepper etc. The trade of spices is evidenced in the trucks going to and away from the warehouses, workers drying, sorting and packing spices.
