Detailed itinerary

1

On this private guided sight-seeing tour, you will visit the south and south-east parts of Mauritius in the comfort of an air-conditioned vehicle dedicated to your group. You will be picked up from your accommodation and begin this beautiful day with a stop at the Macondé View Point, where some of the most iconic views that often end up on travel magazines, can be enjoyed.

2

The next stop is Gris Gris where breathtaking views of stunning rock formations and majestic cliffs will be on offer. The rough nature of the sea in this part of the island will provide you with a different perspective of our coastline.

3

At Le Gris Gris you will be able to gaze upon La Roche Qui Pleure. Almost forgetting you are on a gentle tropical coastline, La Roche Qui Pleure shows you the rough nature of the sea.

4

Next on the agenda is Pont Naturel or "Natural Bridge" which is a marvel of nature . It was carved into the sea cliffs by ocean waves over time. Our guide will be more than happy to capture some photos of your group posing on this stunning bridge. Please note this stop is only possible if weather permits as it is only accessible through dirt roads which may become waterlogged in the event of bad weather.

5

After witnessing the spectacular sights of the wild south, we are sure you've built up an appetite. We will head to the small town of Mahébourg to try out some of the street food. You will be able to take a stroll at the waterfront and enjoy the beautiful sea views.

6

We will then break for lunch in one of the favourite local restaurants, namely Le Phare Restaurant Bar & Lounge, which is at the waterfront itself. While enjoying the exquisite 3-course lunch carefully selected by our team for an authentic culinary experience, you will witness everyday Mauritian lifestyle happening in the neighbouring buzzing streets. You will get to see the locals buying goods at the free market. commuting through public transport, enjoying street food or just chilling.

7
Stop 7

The last stop is Blue Bay Marine Park which is one of the two marine reserves of the island. There, you will go on a glass-bottom boat adventure to witness the pristine, colourful and diverse undersea world of this marine reserve. At this point, if you dream of swimming with the fish or getting a closer look at the coral life, you will be provided with snorkelling gears so you can jump right in. If you are lucky, you might even spot the hawksbill or green sea turtle which often visit this area. You will then enjoy a safe journey back to your accommodation.
