Join us for a wintery ride through paradise. Our guide will lead the way, heading out of Interlaken alongside the turquoise River Aare, with visits to the crystal clear lakes of Thun and Brienz. Along the way we’ll be stopping at Interlaken old town, some 12th century castle ruins and the traditional Swiss village of Bönigen. Oh… And did we mention the lakeside Swiss hot chocolate stop?
We'll kick off our tour with a ride along the treelined turquoise river Aare.
We'll stop for photo's and to take in the beauty at the shores of the crystal clear Lake Thun.
We'll stop for some information on the history of this 12th century ruin. We will even walk up to the turret at the top of the old fortress (As long as there is no ice on the stairwell and it is safe to do so).
Our guide will fill you in on some of the history of the historic "old town" of Interlaken.
We'll stop for photo's and to take in the beauty of the famous Schaaal Bridgein Interlaken's old town.
We'll pass by the traditional Swiss lakeside village of Bönigen.
Finally we'll stop for a heart and hand warming Swiss hot chocolate on a beach at the shores of the incredible lake Brienz.
Participants should meet at the Yellow Velo bike shop 10 minutes before the trip start time.
