For nature lovers, birds in their natural habitat, and iconic landscapes, Seymour North is definitely the perfect destination!
Visiting Seymour Norte Island in the Galapagos will allow us to find the impressive terrestrial iguanas, walk amid colonies of Frigates that show their vivid red breasts during the mating season and also be attracted by the unique way of walking of the Blue-footed Piqueros.

During your visit to Seymour Island, you will see:

Frigates with their scissor-shaped tail and that impressive breast that inflates to catch the attention of females during courtship

Colonies of Blue-footed Boobies next to their nests

Terrestrial Iguanas of peculiar yellow color

Sea lions on the shores of the island, present in many parts of the Galapagos archipelago

Small forests with very low vegetation, highlights Palo Santo tree and Cactus Opuntia

If you snorkel or dive near Seymour you can see: different reef fish very colorful, sea turtles, rays, whitetip sharks.

To complete the excursion, after visiting the Isle of Seymour, back to Santa Cruz we will visit Las Bachas beach, known for its beautiful white sand beaches. A short walk leads to a lagoon where hopefully flamingos are observed. Time to relax on the beach where you can find sea lions that merge between the black volcanic rocks of the Galapagos and enjoy entertaining snorkeling or shallow diving in its crystal clear waters.
