Our lantern-carrying guide will meet you at the wrought iron fence to the right of the Barker Playhouse. They will set the scene for your tour and you will begin your haunted history tour.

Learn the haunting tale of the House of a Thousand Candles, step over the graves of Providencers from times gone by, visit Providence Athenaeum, hear from soldiers at one of our city's oldest Armories, beware of careening carriages and runaway horses, discover the dearly departed at an old funeral parlor, get acquainted with the bright spirits of two art clubs, and more! We will sneak amongst the shadows to nearly a dozen haunted sites on this historic street.
