This full day adventure dishes up Sal's highlights by land and sea. You'll start the morning with an off-road drive, ticking off places like Palmeira and the salt lake at Pedra de Lume. Then after lunch, you'll swap the 4x4 for a catamaran to cruise the shores in style.
Pickup included
You'll have a well-rounded view of Sal by the end of this tour, and it all kicks off once you're strapped in our 4x4. Set off along the west coast of the island, passing the rugged coastline around Murdeira and Buracona lagoon before reaching the port town of Palmeira. You'll then turn inland, with the salt lake at Pedra de Lume in your sights.
But before you float in the Dead Sea-like water, you'll see the desert mirage sands at Terra Boa, which extend as far as the eye can see. You'll have lunch at a local restaurant, then catch the dinghy out to the catamaran, which will be waiting to take you away on a leisurely afternoon sail. Music, snacks and drinks complete the line-up too.
