These are small, boutique wineries which generally produce less than 5,000 cases of wine each year. Reservations not required, but recommended.

1. Littorai Winery

A.small, family owned winery who produce world-class Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from the true north coast of California: the coastal mountains of Sonoma and Mendocino Counties.

2. Red Car Wine Company

Red Car Winery, based in Sebastopol, is a boutique producer known for crafting elegant, site-specific wines from Sonoma County’s coastal vineyards. Since planting its Estate Vineyard in the Fort Ross-Seaview AVA in 2005, the winery has focused on Pinot Noir, Syrah, Chardonnay, and Old Vine Cabernet. All six vineyards lie within 10 miles of the Pacific Ocean, where fog, wind, and cool breezes create ideal growing conditions. With a dedication to sustainability and balance, Red Car produces wines of bright fruit, complex aromatics, moderate alcohol, and true expression of Sonoma’s coastal terroir.

3. Three Sticks Winery

Three Sticks Wines, based in Sonoma, is celebrated for its commitment to land stewardship and community. Its home, the historic Vallejo-Casteñada Adobe, was originally built in 1842 by Salvador Vallejo, brother of General Mariano Vallejo, and has been carefully restored as a Sonoma landmark. Known for producing world-class Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from exceptional estate vineyards, Three Sticks combines history, sustainability, and craftsmanship in every bottle. Ambassador James D. Zellerbach founded Hanzell Vineyards in 1953 with a vision to create wines that could compete on the world stage. Named after his wife Hana, Hanzell sits at the southern toe of the Mayacamas mountain range overlooking the south-western end of Sonoma Valley and San Pablo Bay.
