On my walking tour, we will enter the oldest market in Mombasa where we will lean more about the history of the building and the Swahili cultural spices and traditon.it was built in 1914 and officially opened by sir henry mackinnon.it was positioned to serve Asians and Europeans in the old town.

The street was renamed after sir Mubarak hinawyan influential figure in pre independence coastal rulership hinawy was the first governor of Mombasa in 1937

We will pass by Ndia Kuu road which has a rich history of old town and it housed the first police station in the area
