Our first stop on the way is at Belsh Lake. We take a break and have free time to walk by the lake side, and enjoy the scenery of the crystal water. This is the time also to have some coffee from many coffee shops by the lake side.
Our first stop in Berat will be at Gorica Bridge. This bridge connects two old neighborhoods of Mangalem and Gorica. Great place to take pictures of one above one windows houses of Mangalem and river Osum.
As we walk though the coble streets of Mangalem we reach to the Castle of Berat. This is unique since people still live in this castle. The castle has so much to offer with its churches, traditional houses, small family bars and restaurants, and amazing views of the mountains in the horizon and the whole city of Berat to its feet.
We conclude our tour with a visit in the medeival center and the Bachelors Mosque.
After a break we head back to Tirana to our accommodations after a day full of beautiful views and interesting stories of the past, having created some memories of our own.
