The transfer to Angra dos Reis and Ilha Grande takes approximately 2.5 hours.
In high season, boarding departs from Ipanema for better logistics and to avoid traffic.
To avoid up to 2 hours of additional travel time on the bus, with multiple stops to pick up other passengers, we strongly recommend that you choose the last meeting point.
The vessels do not operate in overcrowded conditions, as they undergo mandatory inspection by the Brazilian Navy before departure. We work with boats of different capacities (medium and large) and, during the high season, due to the greater flow of tourists, we prioritize larger capacity vessels, always respecting legal limits.
All boats undergo daily maintenance, ensuring safety and comfort.
Lunch is served after the boat trip, as some people may feel discomfort due to the rocking of the vessel. Feel free to bring snacks and water to consume during the trip.
The tours normally take place even in case of bad weather, being canceled only in exceptional situations, when the Brazilian Navy does not authorize the departure of the vessel.
