You shall be accompanied by the Chef to the local bazaar to purchase a list of items handed to you prior, with money and a basket 'panier bazar'. Back to Le Domaine des Aubineaux for the preparation of the dishes.
Lunch is then served.
After lunch, visit of the Colonial House 1872. Day ends with tasting of the Saint Aubin Rum

An authentic experience where you can discover and you shall experience the traditional Mauritian cuisine. The Chef of the domain awaits you for a presentation and for the explanation of the steps of preparation. Fines herbs freshly picked from the nursery, the traditional spices, colourful and tasty ingredients will be at your disposal to prepare your lunch.

After lunch, the experience continues with the visit of The colonial house which dates back to 1872 and features most of the original furnishing and paintings of the time. A rum tasting is also included.
