About this experience

A full day dedicated to exploring Mount Fuji and Hakone from Tokyo, guided in Spanish by a local expert. Start at Mount Fuji’s 5th Station, 2,300 m above sea level, where you can enjoy breathtaking views (weather permitting). Then, visit the volcanic area of Ōwakudani and experience a cable car to Lake Ashi, followed by a relaxing cruise along its waters. Ideal for travelers looking to discover two of Japan’s most iconic destinations in one day.
This tour also includes the option to return to Tokyo on the famous Japanese bullet train (Shinkansen) from Odawara Station. This way, you will arrive in Tokyo in just 35 minutes instead of the more than two hours it takes by car.

Hop on board and feel the gentle breeze as you cruise on a pirate-themed cruise on Lake Ashi! When the weather is clear, you’ll be amazed at the sight of Mount Fuji peeking behind the hills. And don’t forget to look left at the end of the tour: see that amazing red torii? It's Hakone's shrine!

Travelers who have chosen the return trip in Shinkansen will be separated from the group here and will take the Shinkansen from Odawara Station to Tokyo Station (in just 35 minutes).

Travelers who have chosen to return by bus will return to Shinjuku by bus (about 2.5 hours).

Travelers who decide to return by bus will end at the west exit of Shinjuku.
In some situations, the end point of the tour may coincide with the same place it started in the morning.

Conditions of Departure and Participants: Punctuality is mandatory; the tour will depart at the exact time and no refunds will be offered for delays. A minimum of 2 participants is required to operate; if not reached, the option in English (with difference refund) or cancellation will be offered. Children under 5 travel free, but without the right to a seat or food (if you need a seat, book the child rate).
Visibility and Climate : The visibility of Mount Fuji depends entirely on weather conditions and is not guaranteed. The tour will take place regardless of the weather (rain or snow) and no claims or refunds are accepted if the mountain is not visible. Wear comfortable clothing and footwear.
Changes to the Itinerary : The itinerary and duration of visits may be changed without notice due to traffic or adverse weather. If the road to the 5th Station, Cable Car or Boat are not operational, alternative destinations (such as shrines, museums or other scenic points) will be visited. These changes do not entitle you to reimbursement.
Meals : We can treat most food allergies, but unfortunately we do not offer gluten-free options. If you choose the “No Lunch” option, we recommend bringing your own food as there may not be time or places available to shop during the stop.
Return Information: Arrival in Shinjuku is approximately 19:30, subject to traffic. You can end the tour at the Odawara or Hakone Yumoto stations if you notify the guide in advance (price does not vary).
Option with Bullet Train (Shinkansen) : Tickets delivered are for "unreserved seats". The guide doesn't travel on the train. If due to traffic the tour is delayed and you miss the suggested train, you can take the next train in the section without reservation. No refunds will be made for lost trains or subsequent transport connections.
