About this experience

This is a private day tour in Hiroshima for shore excursion travelers! There are a couple of options that one of would fit your needs!

With local English speaking guide, we will visit the historical sites such as Izumo Oyashiro Shrine and Matsue Castle. We will visit places you can feel Japanese cultural traditions such as Adachi Museum of Art. Depends on the time limit, we can arrange sightseeing area with the guide and we have options to fit you as much as we can.

Tour Options are mainly divided into "Izumo Plan" and "Matsue and Sakaiminato Plan". Also you can change the start and end time up to your cruise schedule. Feel free to let us know your request!

The Izumo Oyashiro Shrine is one of the most famous Shrines in Japan, and was built in the ancient times. It is already written in a book from the early 8th century. It is said that the original structure was almost 96 meters high, and taller than the Great Buddha Hall at Todaiji Temple in Nara! The current main architecture was completed renovation in 1744. Feel the long-lasting history here!

Yushien is a Japanese-style garden located on an island. Visitors can enjoy the seasonal colorful flowers, trees, ponds, and waterfall in this park. Relax in a Japanese garden that shows different expressions depending on the season!

Visitors can enjoy the different views at different seasons. This Japanese garden has been selected as the best Japanese garden in Japan for 22 years long by garden magazine published in almost 40 countries. You will be impressed by the Japanese garden in harmony with nature! This museum has a large collection of Japanese-style paintings, especially works by Taikan Yokoyama, one of the best modern painters.

Matsue Castle is a Japanese National Treasure, and remains the original wooden structure built in 1607. Samurai residences can be found around the castle. From the castle's summit, visitors can enjoy view of the city and the surrounding natural landscape. You could feel like a lord of the land!

Shigeru Mizuki is a modern Japanese cartoonist from Sakaiminato. His the most famous work is GeGeGe no Kitaro, which features yokai, Japanese folklore creatures. There are statues of the yokai along this road. The whole town is a theme park!
