Detailed itinerary

1

After meeting your tour guide, enjoy a 15-minute walk to TOKAIDO KAWASAKI SHUKU KORYUKAN, a facility that offers insights into Kawasaki City as it was 400 years ago. Once a thriving post town along the Tokaido during the Edo period, it now stands as a valuable historical site where you can explore the roots of modern-day Kawasaki.

2

At Tokaido GLASS, you’ll enjoy a hands-on Kiriko glass-cutting experience—a traditional craft that has been part of Tokyo's glassware production since the late Edo period. You’ll also get to take your handcrafted glass home as a souvenir.

3

Ukiyo-e is a traditional Japanese art form of woodblock prints and paintings that flourished during the Edo period (17th–19th centuries). Meaning "pictures of the floating world," ukiyo-e captures scenes of landscapes, kabuki actors, sumo wrestlers, elegant women, and historical stories—made famous by artists like Hokusai and Hiroshige.
During the tour, a professional guide will introduce you to selected works, and you'll also have time to appreciate the art on your own.
