You will be pick up from your accommodation in either Cairo or Giza by your Tour Guide; you will start the day by visiting the Giza Plateau which is only about 30 minutes from Cairo where your Egyptologist Guide will provide a fascinating introduction to each of the three pyramids: Cheops, Khafre, and Menakaure.
After visiting the pyramids, your Guide will offer you the opportunity for an unforgettable photo by continuing across the plateau to take in the view of the three pyramids rising from the sands, with the Cairo skyline in the background.
Giza Sphinx carved from an outcrop of natural rock, augmented by shaped blocks around the base, added during repeated renovations from the 18th Dynasty onwards.
Your next stop is the Sakkara necropolis, home to the world’s oldest major stone structure. Your guide will provide the history of the famous Step Pyramid built by the engineer Imhotep in the 3rd Dynasty (around 2630 BC) for King Djoser.
Your final stop is Memphis, which is the ancient capital of Egypt. In Memphis, you will see artifacts from many of the great rulers of Egypt, including the fallen statue of Ramses II. You will also have the chance to visit the traditional bazaar demonstration of ts artwork is made and purchase your own if you like.
At the conclusion of your tour, you will be driven back to your hotel/accommodation for drop-off.
