You know you’ve arrived to the oldest area of Puerto Vallarta because there is a certain magic that embraces the area. You can feel the character of an old fishing town here. There are some streets that have been around I dare to say many centuries. A must stop is the emiliano zapata market (only open untill 3PM) where you can see many extraordinary fruits, vegetables, and butcher shops. This is the main tour to learn about chiles and to see them before they are used. There are different times to take this tour: 9:30 AM, 12:30PM , 3:30PM , 6:30PM. We will be learning how chiles are used in the Mexican Gastronomy. Even though most people have the wrong idea thinking they are always spicy, which is not the case. We will visit 5 savory stops and a couple of side stops plus dessert. In the market, you will learn about the chiles that we have available for everyday use.
