Stop 1

An accredited guide will give you a comprehensive tour of the Bob Marley Museum, the legends former home in Kingston. The museum displays several of Bob and Rita Marley’s personal treasures.

To ensure authenticity the rooms have been kept as they were when Bob lived there. The museum includes Bob Marley's recording studio, bedroom, an array of gold and platinum records, as well as the costumes of his back-up singers, the I-Threes.

Option to enjoy a meal from the One Love Café, shop for souvenir items in the gift shop and/or relax and enjoy the vibe at the Marley Natural dispensary.

Tour the National Gallery of Jamaica (NGJ), the oldest and largest public art museum in the Anglophone Caribbean. (Closed on Mondays)

NGJ features a comprehensive collection of early, modern and contemporary art from Jamaica along with smaller Caribbean and international holdings. A significant part of its collections is on permanent view.

The NGJ also has an active exhibition programme, which includes retrospectives of work by major Jamaican artists, thematic exhibitions, guest-curated exhibitions, touring exhibitions that originate outside of the island, and its flagship exhibition, the Kingston Biennial.

After a brief visit to the National Gallery of Jamaica we will make our way to the Institute of Jamaica, strolling for 10 minutes through the vibrant outdoor gallery of stunning murals on Water Lane and its adjoining streets.
