Our safari vehicles are long wheelbase off-road cars that are fitted with seat belts, roll cages and air-conditioning, and are licensed to carry up to 6 passengers, excluding the driver. By law, all passengers must wear seat belts while the vehicle is in motion
There are special considerations for children travelling in our off-road vehicles
Infant seat is required for children up to 12 months old/or under 75cm. Baby seat is required for children 2-3 years and/or 65cm – 95cm - For both age groups, an exclusive vehicle must be booked
Child booster seat is required for children 4-5 years old and/or 105cm – 125cm . For this age group an exclusive vehicle must be booked. Please request a booster seat, if your child fits into this category. Please note that if this is not pre-booked, then we will not be able to operate the safari without the booster seat
Booster cushion is required for children above 5 years old and/or under 135cms). For this age group, a shared vehicle can be booked
Our safari guides are trained in first aid and carry first aid kits. Guides carry mobile phones and radios and vehicles are fitted with a GPS
Seating is not pre-allocated. During safaris, seating for passengers in one vehicle will be rotated
We recommend that all passengers read our Safety Card which is available with the driver/guide in the vehicle before proceeding on our tours
Our tours are conducted in more than one language and are usually multilingual. However, safaris are conducted only in English .
Our safaris involve off-road driving through rugged country, which adds to the excitement of the tour. However, because of the adventurous nature and the rough terrain covered, you should not participate if your health or any pre-existing medical conditions (including heart ailments neck or back problems) may be adversely affected
Vegetarian options, kids meals are available. Please advise at the time of booking if required
Arabian Adventures supports the zero plastic initiative and single-use plastic is not used at our campsite. Instead glasses and water dispensers are available at the bar
Dress code: modest dress, comfortable and closed shoes are recommended
Belly dancing is not available during Ramadan and will be replaced by a tanoura dancer
During Ramadan, experience the tradition of Iftar (breaking of fast) at sunset with traditional dates, hibiscus drink, sparkling date juice and a favourite - Vimto juice - in a picturesque setting on a dune
To ensure seamless service, please contact us 24h before the visit date to confirm your pick-up location and time. If pick up location is not shared in time, we might not be able to provide the service and refunds or reschedules will not be accepted.
Should your excursion include transfers from and to your hotel, our Guide will meet you in the hotel's main lobby. Please ensure you are in the lobby at least 15 minutes before your confirmed pick-up time and inform the hotel concierge that you are waiting for an Arabian Adventures Tour or Safari.
Our team on the ground will not be able to contact you if you are unavailable at the pick-up point at the designated date and time.
