About this experience

This is a fun tour especially designed for art and foodie lovers. You will start with a visit to the unique Artists' Attic space, studio home to over 20 artists, then continue through downtown Lexington where you'll see and learn about the many arts features and landmarks as well as hear entertaining stories from your lively guide.

The tour will then end in the lounge of 21c Museum Hotel with appetizers and the opportunity to buy a drink from the bar. A fun time to socialize and make new friends while surrounded by the hotel's amazing contemporary art collection and enjoying fabulous finger food.

Artists' Attic is a unique collective of over 20 studio spaces where you will be able to see working artists, learn about their process, and enjoy the current exhibition. There will also be refreshments available to start off the tour.

The group will then have the new convention center pointed out and the 70ft sculpture "Publisher" that has just been installed.

A stop next at the New Editions premier art gallery in Lexington after which learn about the city's historic Opera House and how it has survived several fires.

The tour will then continue through the downtown art district where you will see and learn about various significant sculptures, historic buildings, murals and art features. Walk through the restored Courthouse, and learn about the significance of 'Cheapside'.

Your fun guide will take you on an engaging tour and along the way entertain you with the many stories and insider tidbits they have to share and you'll enjoy hearing.
The tour ends at 21c Museum Hotel in the restaurant LockBox lounge where you'll be welcomed with appetizers, and the opportunity to buy a drink from the bar. Plan to stick around to socialize, make new friends and enjoy the amazing contemporary art surroundings while sipping a cocktail and snacking on some specially prepared hors d'oeuvres.
