Celebrated for its talented artisans, Avanos has been a hub for ceramic craftsmanship for centuries, with numerous workshops allowing visitors to observe the pottery-making process. The town boasts charming streets, traditional houses, and a friendly ambiance, making it an ideal destination for experiencing local culture and artistry. Pasabag, or Pasha's Vineyard, is situated along the Zelve road, nestled between the popular town of Goreme and the traditional pottery hub of Avanos. This area is renowned for its breathtaking cone-shaped rock formations known as Fairy Chimneys, which tower elegantly over the vineyard. The name Pasha honors a prominent official from the Ottoman era when the region was conquered. However, it is more commonly referred to as Monks Valley, a name inspired by the many monk retreats carved into the soft rock formations.

After visiting Cappadocia, you'll be transported to a traditional Turkish Bath experience. Upon arrival at the bath entrance, you'll receive tokens and instructions. In the dressing room, you'll change and envelop yourself in a peştamal, a traditional cotton body wrap. After securing your belongings in the locker and keeping the key with you, you'll enter the heated area known as the sıcaklık (caldarium). Here, a large heated marble platform is surrounded by bathing basins (kurna) and private bathing cubicles (halvet). To start, induce perspiration by reclining on the heated marble or pouring hot water from nearby basins. Next, your attendant will provide an exfoliating scrub and bubble wash as you relax on the warm platform. Following this, you'll move to one of the basins for a thorough washing by the attendant.
