Once we're all together in front of the local coffee shop Café Da Praça, we'll begin the tour around the historic centre and we'll learn of the secrets of its most important monuments and buildings.
As we walk, we'll talk about the indigenous groups that occupied the Island of Santa Catarina, and travel through the 17th century, a time marked by the arrival of Portuguese colonisers and African enslaved.
After learning about the founders of the nicknamed "Magic Iisland", we'll make our way to the Cruz e Sousa Palace and the November 15th Square.
Next, we'll explore important landmarks for the black community in Florianopolis. In addition, we'll also pass by the Álvaro de Carvalho Theatre, one of the most beautiful monuments in the city.
We'll finish the experience with a little tour and a surprise at the Public Market.

We will meet outside Café Bar do Largo da Alfândega (Largo da Alfândega, 142 - Centro, Florianópolis). There you will be able to get a coffee, water and use the restroom before taking off.

We will meet outside Café|Bar do Largo da Alfândega, a local Coffee Shop where you can grab a coffee and use the restroom. I will be wearing white T-shirt written 'The Best of Florianopolis' and a tour guide credential. I will also use a small colorful umbrella so you can find me easily as we walk.
