The arboretum is a huge green space that looks and feels like a dense forest, occasionally full of open spaces. It was founded by Mr. Batiscombe in 1907 and is now overseen by the Kenyan Ministry of Forestry. Enjoy walking in the vast of the forest as you encounter different types of trees and bird species. Start with a pickup at your hotel at 8:00 am. Be driven at Nairobi Arboretum first. After the arrival, enjoy a walking trail in the forest as you see over 350 species of the indigenous and the exotic plants, most of which are labelled, it is also known as a home to over 100 species of bird species have been recorded. Around 1:00 pm you will be taken to a local restaurant for lunch(optional) and later you will be dropped off at your hotel.
