Our guide will be ready to pick you at 8:00 am from your city hotel ready for the tour. The ride to the base of Oldonyo sapuk . After clearance at the gate and Guides briefing, you are set for the 5 hours hiking tour. The guides are friendly and will be ready to assist where necessary. Dominated by a small mountain covered in montane forest, the Ol Donyo Sabuk National Park is home to 45 species of birds including the white-browed sparrow weaver, grey- headed sparrow weaver, African pied wagtail, augur buzzard, etc. Buffalo are the dominant animals and other wildlife. Near the peak is the grave of Lord Macmillan, his wife and their dog. Also, there is an extra grave of one Louise, who started working for the Macmillan's when she was age 13.The mountain’s summit also offers visitors scenic views of Mount Kenya. You will descend slowly and exit the park.
At around 1:00 pm stop will be at Oldonyo sapuk resort for lunch and later depart for Nairobi and drop a your city hotel.
