Have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the local culture at El Mercado del Valle and learn about life in the heart of El Valle. You will explore El Valle de Anton's highlights, including its inactive volcano, considered to be one of the few inhabited volcanic calderas in the world.

Along Cerro Cariguana, your guide will share fascinating facts about its geology and history, and you will encounter an array of plants, trees, animal life and learn about numerous bird species.

As you embark on your e-bike journey, you will pass through The Main Avenue of El Valle de Antón, which is the central hub of the town. It is home to most of the shops, restaurants, and tourist activities. The Main Avenue is a place of interest where you can find the "Mercado de Artesanías." Several restaurants offer typical Panamanian dishes along with international cuisine. The Main Avenue is famous for its artistic community. You can visit several art galleries showcasing works by local artists. If you want a memento of your visit, souvenir shops selling T-shirts, magnets, and other items related to El Valle de Antón are also available. El Parque Central is a green space near Main Avenue, with trees, benches, and a playground. It's popular for picnics, relaxation, and walks. The iconic "Iglesia San José de El Valle" church is also located near the Main Avenue. It is an essential place for the local community and often hosts religious and cultural events.

The e-bike tour is a scenic ride that takes you around the caldera of El Valle de Antón, covering an area of 32 square kilometers, with specific stops at notable locations. In addition to the main road, the route passes through all the alternative paths that surround the caldera. Along the way, we make various stops to admire the region's rich biodiversity, flora, and fauna. Our guide also shares the history of one of the oldest houses in El Valle. During the stops, which can last from 5-10 minutes, you can observe the different types of ecosystems that surround the caldera, including the tropical dry forest and the tropical rainforest. We pause for observation to identify different species that inhabit the region.
