About this experience

Pigeon Valley, or Güvercinlik Vadisi, is a stunning natural attraction in Cappadocia. Named after the numerous pigeon houses carved into the cliffs, the valley offers a picturesque landscape with lush greenery and unique rock formations. Visitors can enjoy hiking through the valley, exploring the ancient pigeon houses, and taking in the breathtaking views. The valley is also a popular spot for birdwatching, as pigeons still inhabit the area.

Stop 4

Derinkuyu Underground City is one of the largest and deepest underground cities in Cappadocia. Descending up to 60 meters and with 8 levels open to visitors, the city has the capacity to accommodate thousands of people. It is believed to have been initially built by the Hittites and later used by Christians during the Roman and Byzantine periods as a shelter and defense refuge. It is equipped with kitchens, stables, a church, meeting rooms, and water wells. The ventilation system and water resources were designed to make long-term habitation possible in the city.

Stop 5

Ihlara Valley, the largest and longest valley in Turkey, is a place where history and nature turn into works of art together. In the Ihlara valley, which has a total of 105 churches, only 14 of these churches are open. In this valley where the Melendiz stream passes, we will also take a break in the gazebos built on the water.

At lunchtime we will have a lunch break at a local restaurant in the Belisirma region.

Narlı lake, which is the only crater lake of the Cappadocia region, you can witness different landscapes throughout the four seasons. This lake, which has a temperature of 65 degrees, also helps to eliminate many diseases.
