About this experience

Enjoy a day of tubing in New Braunfels on the spring-fed Comal River. Travelers may select from various times throughout the day to reserve their entrance in advanced. Float times run approximately 2-2.5 hours with 3 chutes along the way. The Comal River maintains a temperature of approximately 72 degrees Fahrenheit (approximately 22 degrees Celsius) year round. Thousands of people from towns near and far tube down the Comal River in the spring & summer to enjoy the river's natural beauty. Tubing on the Comal provides another relaxing alternative to tubing on the nearby Guadalupe River.

A shuttle will be provided to transport guests and their tubes back up to the river mouth.

Day of Travel Recommendations
- Wear water shoes or old tennis shoes to protect against cuts, scrapes and bruises while making your way to and from entry/exit points. Shoes will also protect your feet from the rocky river bottom.
- Bring Sunscreen, remember to apply before and during your toobing floats down the Comal.
- Park in designated areas. Vehicles in undesignated areas may be towed. Parking is free on property owned by NB Toobs. If our lot is full, other lots may charge to park nearby.
- Bring plenty of your favorite beverages (including lots of water to keep hydrated). Alcoholic beverages are legal on the Comal River and you can drink while you tube. Review the new RIVER RULES in advanced for proper reusable containers allowed on the river. Please drink responsibly.
