We visit Bodegas Vegalfaro, an organic family farmed estate with professional guided visit by Toni Martin WSET/Sommelier commencing in the vineyard explaining their viticulture and techniques with use of French, USA, Hungarian oak & clay amphorae. Their limestone based cru Pago de Los Balagueses, produces exceptional Syrah, Garnacha & Chardonney and our premium tastings feature these wines with maridaje cured cheese, charcouteria & estate olive oil. The guided tasting is in the garden or glazed salon overlooking the vineyards and we are often joined by the owner/winemaker to chat to you when present! Tasting 4-5 wines (possibly more) including the autoctono Bobal, rosado, aged red, & white wines you will appreciate the diverse palette of flavours at this bodega. As our visits are by appointment on some occasions we may switch this visit to another property of equal status ie. Mustiguillo, Nodus, Iranzo or a micro artisan bodega Carres.

A fully guided DO Pago vineyard & bodega visit (organic) detailed professional guiding by Toni Martin WSET/Sommelier qualified & the owners if available on the day. A wine 101 with interesting facts often not explained, from viticulture to wine & Cava making with guided tastings of 6+ wines inc. Premium Cava Brut Nat G.Rsva & a range of quality barrel aged red, white & rosado wines + maridaje inc. award winning estate Ex. Virgin Olive oil. I can tailor the wines to suit your tastes. The visit is relaxed with time in vineyard, see the various types of fermentation vessel, the barrel aging explained & an impressive barrel hall, Cava cellar & process (why it´s not Champagne nor Prosecco), visit the owners restored home & antique cellars circa 1850, modern art works + other quirky items ...with tastings of the best wines ...a great selection including long aged vintage dry Cava. Quality improves every year at this striving estate! The visit is approx. 2.5hrs .

Our 3rd winery in the afternoon visits a historic regenerated property with heritage funded in 1901 now housing a modern avantgarde winery but also focusing on autoctono Bobal , use of Pinot Noir in Cava Rosé and also some curious natural wines. We view their new barrel hall with tastings 4-5 quality wines from their limited production high altitude vines. You may select from their range of organic wines & Cava plus maridaje & chocolate to compliment the tastings with views over vineyards. This is also fully guided by Toni Martin WSET/Sommelier certified and bodeguero. As our tours are by private appointment we may switch this bodega to another of status such as Mustiguillo or Montesanco to offer you the best tour on the day. Tours are flexible as bodegas are not always available for our tour format.
