The catacombs of Saint Callixtus are an extensive network of underground burial chambers. They are known for their historical significance as the burial place of numerous early Christian martyrs and popes. Tickets can be purchased on site, at 10 euros per adult, and 7 euros for kids up to 16yo.
It is closed on Wednesday, but in that case the nearby Catacumbs of Saint Sebastian are open, at the same price.
