Stop 2

Our next visit point will be the Öküz Mehmet Pasha Caravanserai, which was built in 1618 and has survived to this day in a very well preserved state. It is one of the best examples of Ottoman caravanserai structures and will help us understand this culture.

3

Our next stop will be Kaleiçi Mosque.
You will be able to visit the mosque by listening to our guide's perspective on religion in our country, which has a secular system although the majority of the population is Muslim.

4

We will visit a bazaar where you can buy regional and local products from hundreds of shops selling thousands of products.

5

"Stuffed mussels" refers to a dish where mussels are filled with a seasoned mixture typically containing rice, herbs, spices, and sometimes minced vegetables. The stuffing may vary based on regional preferences, but it is generally a flavorful blend that complements the natural taste of the mussels. The mixture is placed on the opened mussel shells and then cooked or baked. Stuffed mussels are a popular seafood dish in various cuisines and are often served as appetizers or as part of a seafood platter.
