Paseo Dona Blanca in Puerto Plata is a unique alleyway created to commemorate the arrival of Mrs. Bianca Franceschini, a pioneer in the development of the early tourism industry in Puerto Plata at the end of the 18th century. This Victorian style alley is painted entirely in pink, including walls, flooring, decorative elements, benches and flowers; a great backdrop for photography that now attracts weddings, birthday and other photo shoots.
In this beautiful place you will find a total of 178 multi colored umbrellas, falling from a base that acts as the roof on the street, creating a cozy atmosphere where people will have the opportunity to capture beautiful photographs or interesting videos with their good times.
The Dominican Amber Museum is located in the center of the city of Puerto Plata, in a Victorian-style house, where it has on display on several floors some of the most impressive stones of Dominican amber, including samples containing animal fossils.

You can also stop at one of the various bars and restaurants that line the Malecón. . Numerous events take place along the boulevard throughout the year, including the Puerto Plata Carnival.

Panoranmic View. This stop will leave you breathless. One of the highest points in Puerto Plata is this stop. Here you can see beautiful mansions as well local class style living. The cruise ships and port are a site to admire from here. This stop is perfect for when the lines are 3-4 hours to take the cable car up to Mt Isabel de Torres. In the distance you can see the cable car, the statue of Jesus and miles and miles of beautiful beach coast line.
